From the Côte Chalonnaise. Les Bassets is a “split” vineyard, part of which is village-classified and part of which is premier cru, and this parcel is on the village side. Beautiful aromas of lemon curd and minerality. The palate is rich and weighty, with hints of orange and a brûlée-like note. This has an almost Chassagne-level of richness.
